Get to know our Education Director

Greetings CoFED community!

My name is Brittaney Robinson, a newbie on the CoFED block who is so excited to be in the presence of your greatness!

As we navigate through a season of remembrance, hope, celebrations, trauma, loss and grief, I couldn’t help but think how each season of life holds a collection of stories. It is those stories that shape our past, present, and future realities.

When we are open to listening to the journey’s behind these stories, there’s a beautiful exchange that occurs: a little more understanding, a little more love, a little more respect, a little more humanity.

It’s the sacred action of remembering, “we are all but a collection of stories” that can shift energies in a room where chaos and confusion reside. So as we navigate what can be the most beautiful and the most rough times of our lives, let’s give grace and honor to the stories we hold and help others to stand boldly in the collection of theirs.

In hopes that we get to know each other’s stories as a part of your connection to CoFED, I’d love to introduce you to pieces of mine:

  • I am a lover of earth and its creation. My heart rests steady in the forests, gardens, wild fields, mountains, and beaches.
  • I am an herbalist, garden coach, and multifaceted horticulturist.
  • I come from a legacy of land stewards, healers, teachers, artists, and entrepreneurs.
  • I was born on Arapaho, Ute, Cheyenne lands (Denver, CO) and my ancestral roots run deep in the Southern United States, South and Central America.
  • I have no problem having a dance party in my car in the middle of a traffic jam.
  • My connection to food and music are divinely appointed. Give me a plate of arroz con pollo or sushi with a good playlist in the background and I’ll enter the heavenly realms.
  • I am an explorer of possibilities: a visionary leader, dreamer, educator, life-long learner.

I am excited to be joining you all as CoFED’s Education Director. I look forward to co-creating with you to collectively build the resources, support, and actions needed to bless your past, present, and future stories.

With gratitude,

Brittaney
