APPLICATION PROCESS

In this current political climate, it is critical that we prioritize safety, alignment, and shared values in our collective gatherings. To ensure a supportive and aligned environment for all, we have introduced a short screening process as part of registration.

PHASE 1 – All prospective attendees must complete an individual application by August 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. Applications will be reviewed with care, and selected participants will be notified of their invitation to register by August 8, 2025.

PHASE 2 – Selected applicants must complete their registration and submit payment by August 20, 2025.

Space is intentionally limited to 20 participants to allow for deep connection, skill-sharing, and community-building. Tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis for those invited to register.

We strongly encourage early application and prompt registration to secure your spot. Priority will be given to applicants based in the Southeast (AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV).

APPLYING AS A TEAM

Each prospective BUD attendee needs to submit an individual application. Up to two people can apply from a singular organization.

Consider that those who are most successful in this program tend to be those who are leading stewardship within their organizations and have the ability to make decisions that impact the future and structure of the organization.

If you hope to attend as part of an organizational cohort, you can indicate this in Section 2 of your application.

WHAT IS THE COST FOR BUD?

We welcome you to explore the different tickets below to understand which option is right for you. We have provided a suggested per person sliding scale, but also ask that you think abundantly, and consider all the resources you have access to, both individually and as a collective.

If you have the means to register at a higher rate, we invite you to opt in into a higher contribution level. This will support us in sponsoring more participants to access this immersive experience.

The only way we are able to build independent institutions for folx of color is through supporting them ourselves.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that plans change and you might need to cancel. You may request to receive a full refund until Aug. 30 by contacting us at bud@cofed.org

Please note that CoFED retains the right to cancel at any time due to low registration, public health concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation made by COFED, all tickets will automatically be refunded.
